State Sen. Janet Howell (D-32nd) has endorsed Jane Strauss in the Dranesville District School Board race.
In a statement, Howell said she relies on Strauss’s “informed and reasoned view of how to keep moving our schools forward.”
“Legislators in Richmond rely on Janie’s help to understand what is best for our children,” said Howell, who also is seeking re-election on Nov. 8.

Strauss is being challenged by Louise Epstein in the race, which like all school board campaigns across Virginia officially is non-partisan.
